Just want to wish all of you a merry happy wonderful Christmas! I´ve so much enjoyed reading your blogs and your nice comments and it has been a wonderful year in blog world for me! I´ve met so many lovely, excentric and inspiring people from all over the world that I didn´t even know existed! Getting in touch with you has been both a great source of inspiration and very encouraging, and I´m looking forward to see what you´re up to in 2010!
Here are some Christmas pictures, we actually have a white Christmas this year - wonderful!
Our Christmas tree with vintage American baubles from the fifties, crocheted flowers, Christmas owls and pearl garlands
Handmade cards for friends and family to give with their presents
Notice the angel - I made it when I was 5 or 6 years old ;-)
Vintage pink dresser with old birdcage, hortensia, fil de fer angel and candles, of course
Inthe evenings the conservatory looks like a place from a fairytale with lots of lit candles, shiny baubles and fairylights!
Oh what a great post. I love your tree! It is so perfect (but not in a too perfect way, if you know what I mean). Love the snow covered train carriage! Thanks for sharing, Melissa

A Merry Christmas to you. I just always love when you post. Your decorating and artistic talents are always so inspiring. OH my, your conservatory room is so beautifully decorated and the snow in the back round.. it DOES look like a fairytale. I have enjoyed getting to know you in the past year.
Welcome to my blog! I am a textile and jewellery artist, running a combined vintage and craft shop in a converted wooden train carriage. I work with recycled materials like doilies, antique lace, old buttons, vintage haberdashery and jewellery which I find on my regular visits to fleamarkets and charity shops.
I live in a pretty old farmhouse in the middle of the Danish countryside, together with my Norwegian partner and lots of pets. We have a big cottage garden, and as I believe in a sustainable lifestyle I grow vegetables, fruit and flowers and keep a flock of free ranging chickens. I love handmade stuff, a good gin tonic and I always wear dresses with flowers or polka dots.
Merry Christmas to you dear friend.
